Hi everyone, I would like to share a screen shot...

This was in a Random Arena battle... after my 9th win, everyone in my group left except for me.. to make a long story short, I never got my glad point

I believe it was the 10th win for the other 3, so they left since the next game will be in TA. You get no opposing party because hardly anyone enters battle in TA without a team.

But seeing as he/she is on 9 wins, wouldn't the server allocate them to a RA team?

That would be a good option, but unfortunately GW doesnt do that. Whoever on your RA team has the most wins is how many you also have towards your progress to TA.

IMO after 10 wins you should just be allowed to stay in RA.

get 3 friends to enter a three way team in TA. you should be teamed up with them.

edit; you have no defensive set. don't deserve the glad anyways, imo. :P

You're logic is infallible, basically, you don't know how to play the game 'properly' so you should not be allowed to/ get rewards from playing it.

Tell me, the first time you played a PvP game, did you have a defensive/alt set? The first time you won did you have another set?

Yes. It's not until after your 10th win that you are sent to TA. Personally, I like RA. It's a great place for you to be able to jump in and play a quick round or two, pick up some easy Balth faction and maybe a Glad point or two.

OP - Sorry about that. At least you got one Glad point. Remember, you get one after 5 wins now, but yeah, 10 would have given you even more.

That's why GW PvP sucks, It's been repopulated by players with skills but no balls, and who need Anet to do all the work for them.

What happened to the time when players would play through until they lost, even if it meant going to the TA, I guess those days are gone?

When was that? During the Beta test? I'm not flaming you Chris, but I've been playing RA for a long time too and it's always full of quitters...at least since I've been playing. I think Lorde was spot on. The OP probably joined this group after they'd already had a drop out and they'd gotten their10th win, so they bolted. It happens all the time in RA. For some reason, people drop after that 10th win becasue they don't want to face a TA team (which, btw, are often pretty lousy themselves).

from when i play RA (not so often), and from facing (supposdly) RA teams in TA; they all seem to be full offensive only. there's hardly ever a monk or support char in the groups -- and once one leaves the rest leaves too.

however, there's still a couple of teams going to Ta after Ra (and even having success from what i heard :P).

maybe they should hand out more gladpoints for RA teams in TA? a little bit extra, takes more skill to beat coordinated teams anyways. might as well raise the reward -- i'm sure nobody would mind.

Happened to me 2 times too(when u only got points on the 10th win), didn't made a big deal out of it, considering it doesn't happen all that much and it's RA...

I lol'd at that..."nobody would mind" Now that's funny when said about something in GW. People are still bitching about the new PvP chest ffs.
